Butler County Emergency Services is excited to share a new notification resource for all residents and businesses located in Butler County! It’s called CodeRED

We have selected CodeRED as an Emergency Notification Warning System to be an automatic severe weather alert service, alerting citizens in the path of severe thunderstorms, flash floods, tornadoes AND any other potentially life threatening event/emergency.

Sign Up for Notifications

All residents and businesses are urged to sign up for notifications by clicking the CodeRED logo or visiting the Butler County CodeRED page. Enter your contact information in the CodeRED website. At sign up you may select which types of warnings you’d like to receive. There is no direct charge to you for this service.

If you know of anyone who lives in Butler County please encourage them to visit the Butler County website and sign up for CodeRED notifications.

If you do not have internet access, please contact a friend or family member to help add your contact information to the emergency database. You can also call Butler County Emergency Services administrative office at 724-284-5211, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm directly for assistance.
