District Attorney

Mr. Goldinger was born and raised in Butler county, graduating from Butler High School in 1988. From thereon, he continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh in 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, and from the University of Akron School of Law in 1995.

Following law school, Mr. Goldinger began practicing law with his father. He was a general practitioner from 1995 to 2007 with a focus on Criminal Defense and Family Law. In 2007 he was elected District Attorney of Butler County and has remained in that position until the present. He is also a past President of the Pennsylvania District Attorney's Association.

During his career, Mr. Goldinger has litigated numerous jury and bench trials in all aspects of the law including civil litigation, child custody trials, and equitable distribution hearings. He has been prosecution and/or defense council of numerous crimes, including, but not limited to, murder, arson, rape, burglary, felony drug offenses, DUI forgery, and theft. Along with his background in law, Mr. Goldinger was also a former Chair of the Butler County Criminal Justice Advisory Board, Chair of the Butler County Commissioners' Council on Drugs and Alcohol, Chair of the Local Policy Board on Domestic Violence, and board member of the Butler County Family YMCA Board of Managers.
