Saying the simple phrase "Thank You!" has so much more meaning now than it ever has especially to those who are on the front lines of the health crisis COVID-19.  

Our First Responders, in Butler County, are on those front lines who turn the challenges of COVID-19 in to opportunities, consider the weaknesses they may have as a motivation to improve, and polish their strengths into uniqueness!

Several Butler County businesses have graciously offered "heartfelt appreciation gestures" to our First Responders.  Below is the list of businesses for First Responders to reference during these unprecedented times.

  • COSTCO is offering Priority Access for Healthcare Workers and First Responders Costco is temporarily allowing priority access to our warehouses during all open hours for Costco members who are healthcare workers and first responders such as police officers, EMTs and firefighters.  PLEASE NOTE: Healthcare workers (which include all hospital employees with a hospital ID) and first responders who present a Costco membership card and official identification of their role, will be allowed to move to the front of any line to enter the warehouse.
  • GETGO is offering a free cup of coffee or fountain beverage to health care workers and First Responders.
  • GIANT EAGLE is offering health care workers and first responders a dedicated hour of shopping every Thursday and Friday, before stores open to the public. These individuals are selflessly working on the front lines to protect our communities. We’re proud to express our gratitude for their daily sacrifice.
  • McDONALD'S starting 04/22/2020 until 05/05/2020 is offering free meals to First Responders and healthcare workers at participating locations.  Greater Butler Mart McDonald's is participating and you will need to show ID. 
  • SAM'S CLUB is offering HERO Hours for First Responders, healthcare workers and Sam's Club associates can shop the club early every Sunday from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.  PLEASE NOTE: First Responders will need to show your I.D. badge during these hours and do not need to have a membership.  After 10 a.m., you will need to have a membership to check out.  
  • VOCELLI'S PIZZA is giving all First Responders 50% off of their orders at the 532 W. Cunningham Street location.  Click on Vocelli's for their menu.
