PA Supreme Court Ruling on State Party Committees & Reapportionment (March 16th):
On Wednesday, March 16th, the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court issued multiple orders that directly impact the 2022 Primary Election Calendar. The first order vacated their March 2nd ruling which froze the election calendar (see the paragraph below for specific details), and set dates for the petition process for State Party Committees and seats in the Pennsylvania General Assembly (court order in PDF format). A second order put the force of law into the Final Plan of the Legislative Reapportionment Commission (court order in PDF format), which set legislative districts across the commonwealth. Based on these court orders, an updated 2022 Election Calendar has been published (view the calendar in PDF format, or online).
