Butler County Emergency Services is proud to announce our transition to Regroup, our new high-speed mass notification system. This system allows us to send time-sensitive emergency alerts to your phone, email, or landline.
Why We Switched (and What to Expect)
At Butler County Emergency Services, we believe an emergency alert should only be sent when action is required. We have transitioned to Regroup not just for enhanced security, but to ensure a streamlined, "Business-Only" approach to public safety.
Our "No-Nuisance" Promise: We value your time and your peace of mind. We want to ensure our residents never become "numb" to our notifications. Therefore, this system is reserved strictly for emergency situations.
🆘WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE: Life-safety threats, severe weather warnings, evacuation notices, and critical 9-1-1 system outages/updates.
🛑WHAT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE: We will not use this system for non-emergency road closures, community carnivals, event reminders, or general county news.
🚨When you receive a Butler County Alert, we mean business. Our goal is to ensure that when your phone sounds an alarm, you know it is time to pay attention and take action.
Please Note: Even if you were previously signed up for our old system (CodeRED), you must create a new profile to ensure your information is accurate and your preferences are set correctly.
