Butler County Human Services is responsible for the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of the service system addressing the needs of our target populations.
The populations we serve include:
- Children and their families experiencing abuse and neglect
- Older adults
- People who are homeless
- People with developmental delays
- People with mental illness
- People with substance use disorders
Block Grant Plan
The Human Services Block Grant consolidates the following funding sources received by Butler County from the State of PA: Mental Health Community Base-Funded Services, Behavioral Health Services Initiative (BHSI), Intellectual Disabilities Community Base-Funded Services, Act 152 of 1988 Drug and Alcohol Services, Homeless Assistance Program Funding, and Human Services Development Funds.
